Since its inception in 2010, Coronado Distribution Company, Inc. (“Coronado DC”) has provided warehousing, medical equipment installation, janitorial & logistical support services to Government agencies nationwide. Coronado DC not only supplies its Government customers with support services that allow them to be more productive, but also provides the necessary products to get the job done, including: medical equipment, office furniture, pallet rack & shelving, janitorial, security and safety supplies.

As a SDVOSB with an SBA 8(a) Certification, Coronado DC has recently been awarded 8(a) Sole Source contracts with the USACE Huntsville for a pallet flow rack system and installation job at Ft. Hood, Texas, a 2-year 8(a) Sole Source contract for janitorial work with the VA Hospital in Utah, and an 8(a) Sole Source contract with the VA for Medical Equipment at the new Aurora, CO Hospital. With over 50 employees, and annual sales exceeding $14 million, Coronado DC’s aim is to provide a specific set of support services, complemented by a wide assortment of quality products. All of this at competitive prices with a customer service experience that is second to none. Our commitment is our promise, and we deliver on that commitment each and every day.

Coronado DC operates its warehousing & logistical support operations from its 20,000 sq. ft. facility in San Diego, California. Over sixty percent of Coronado DC’s employees are military veterans or spouses of current active duty servicemen and servicewomen. Coronado DC has a full-service sales support staff (operations manager, sales support department and purchasing department), a warehouse manager, two full time delivery drivers, six outside salespeople, and an in-house accountant, who manages Coronado DC’s state-of-the-art GAAP compliant accounting system. Coronado DC’s executive management is a seasoned team with years of federal government contracting experience.

Coronado DC has partnered with one of North America’s largest MRO Distributors, under their Strategic Alliance Program. This allows Coronado DC access to their entire 850,000+ item (TAA Compliant) MRO catalog. This also gives us a unique business advantage over our competitors. We have the ability to leverage their entire breadth of product and world-class supply chain (13 Distribution Centers and 389 branches located across the United States). We can deliver products anywhere in the United States, and around the world, so that they are available when our customers need them. Other key business Alliances are as follows: Knoll Furniture, Snap-On Tools, Essendant, Pelican Products Inc., Propper International, Belleville Boot Company, Uline Shipping and Trimega Purchasing Association. Coronado DC is also committed to partnering with and procuring from other small businesses and giving back to our community.
