Tex-Shield is the exclusive U.S. licensee of the unique SARATOGA® chemical protective technology.

SARATOGA® is a family of materials based on proprietary activated carbon sphere technology, all of which are designed to provide optimal chemical agent protection to Military personnel and First Responders. Chemical protective suits produced using Tex-Shield's SARATOGA® fabric are used by the U.S. Department of Defense, foreign military services, federal, state and local law enforcement agencies, fire departments, and other first responders.
SARATOGA® chemical protective fabrics have been subjected to over ten years of extensive detailed, operational, human factors and laboratory testing by the U.S. Military in all environments. Tex-Shield is the only qualified supplier of chemical protective fabric for the U.S. Department of Defense's Joint Service Lightweight Integrated Suit Technology (JSLIST) Program and the Joint Protective Aircrew Chemical Ensemble (JPACE).

Tex-Shield's products include the JSLIST Overgarment, SARATOGA Hammer Suit®, JPACE Flight suits, and chemical protective filtration media.
