Department of Defense (DoD). Kalman’s association with the DoD began with the Marine Corps Systems Command (MCSC) in 1999 and our success there led us to other Service and Joint acquisition activities with the preponderance of our efforts focused on the acquisition of CBRN equipment, infantry combat equipment, and now light tactical vehicles. We support all levels of Acquisition Category (ACAT) and Abbreviated Acquisition Programs (AAPs) and have deployed personnel for equipment fielding and training in five countries in support of our Marine Corps, Navy, and Joint clients.

Kalman has supported numerous activities and clients within DoD to include: USMC Product Manager (PdM) Infantry Combat Equipment; PdM Combat Support Equipment; Assistant Commander Programs (AC-PROG); Program Management (PMM) Marine Air Ground Task Force (MAGTF); PM MC3; Program Executive Office Land Systems (PEO LS) High Mobility Multipurpose Wheeled Vehicle (HMMWV)), Program Manager Light Tactical Vehicle (PM LTV), Joint Light Tactical Vehicle (JLTV), Assault Amphibious Vehicle Waterborne Egress Capability (AAV-WEC); Medium Tactical Vehicle Replacement (MTVR); and Networking On-The-Move (NOTM), (Assistant Commander for Programs (AC PROG), Naval Surface Weapons Center (NSWC) Extreme Environments Chemical and Biological Defense (CBD) Individual Protective Equipment (IPE), and Space and Naval Warfare Systems Command (SPAWAR) 1.6).

Chemical Biological Defense Program (CBDP). Kalman’s support to the Joint Program Executive Office – Chemical Biological Defense (JPEO-CBD) began in 2005 and continues today assisting in managing over 50 programs of record. Additionally, Kalman’s management team has supported the Chemical Biological Defense Program (CBDP) for more than 30 years leveraging proven best business practices, starting programs with sound planning, providing exponential return on investment, meeting deadlines and consistently exceeding client expectations, producing near-final documentation for government clients, preparing professional, on-target briefings and white papers, and interpreting policies and regulations while saving time and money.

Business Analytics. Kalman’s support to our DoD and Federal Government clients includes applying analytical expertise to programs and problems to support sound resource decisions and allocation optimization through cost, economic, and financial analyses.
